Do you need care or medical assistance during your holiday?

It is no longer possible to make an appointment directly at one of the GP practices. From Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, you can submit your medical requests via an app to the nurses and general practitioners of the digital care service Medicoo.
 
The GP post also works together with Medicoo on weekends from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. The app is available for all questions. You can make contact via the app at a time that is convenient for you. The GP post also remains available by telephone for care that cannot wait until the next day.  The telephone number of the GP post is 0115-643000.
 

What is the digital care service Medicoo

Medicoo is an app that you can download from the App Store or Google Play on your mobile phone or tablet. The app offers personal care to patients via live chat and video calling. After a short introduction and a number of questions where you need to fill in your details, you can ask your health question via a live chat. There is a team of nurses and general practitioners ready to answer the questions you have asked.

This medical team of Medicoo takes care of the triage according to the professional protocols, gives self-care advice or, if necessary, refers to one of the practices in West-Zeeuws Vlaanderen, as close as possible to your holiday destination nearby. 

By supporting healthcare digitally, with the large number of tourists in this region, care remains accessible to everyone!
 

Accessibility of the Medicoo care service

From Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and on weekends from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, the nurses and general practitioners are at your service.
 
With the Medicoo app you can quickly and easily ask your health question at any time, from anywhere.
 
You are urged not to come to the gp practice if you do not have an appointment.  Download the Medicoo app, register and you can ask your question directly  and if necessary you can make an appointment with the nearest gp.

Medicoo is offered to you in cooperation with all health insurers. The care is reimbursed and you do not have to incur any costs or submit claims.
