Oostburg [Wosburg] lies in the heart of West Zeelandic Flanders, and you can go there for almost all day-to-day matters, from hospital to swimming pool and from theatre to supermarket. The unicorns welcome you on the roundabouts. They symbolise strength and courage during the reconstruction after the Second World War.
 
Oostburg water tower
The water tower with the distinctive painting by artist Johnny Beerens is a real eye-catcher. The huge water drops look almost real. They symbolise the circle of life but can also be associated with tears. The Oostburg area is perfect for cycling tours, with the Oostburg water tower serving as an excellent landmark.
